From iPhone to DSLR to film, my photography journey has been entirely my own and what I consider to be one of my remaining creative hobbies. Over the years I have developed different ideas around how I like to practice. With digital photography I am more interested in composition and intersecting lines, often looking at how architecture interacts with nature. My film photography is limited to point-and-shoot methods, so this becomes more about capturing the moment, often with an emphasis on light and grain. After collecting a series of photos, whether it’s from a trip or a walk in the neighborhood, I take pride in the editing and curation.
